Summer House Season 8 Reunion: Kyle Cooke Officially Cuts His Mullet

Summer House just filmed its Season 8 reunion, and it’s destined for drama. Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard will have to come face to face after the last-minute calling off of their engagement. While Lindsay and Carl’s relationship drama is bound to take up a lot of airtime in this upcoming reunion, it’s far from all we have to deal with.

Kyle Cooke and his mullet have been in a different, but equally toxic relationship on Summer House. It started as a scrappy wig that somehow made its way back to the Hamptons year after year. Then, Kyle grew out the real thing. His wife Amanda Batula has made it clear that the mullet is a major “ick” for her. Now, it looks like Kyle is entering a new era.

During a Watch What Happens Live appearance, Kyle recently teased that he was ready to part ways with the mullet. Andy Cohen jumped on the opportunity to ask Kyle if he could cut it off at the Season 8 reunion. Well, Andy has now updated the fans to announce that it’s an end for Kyle’s infamous hair era now that the reunion has wrapped.

Andy took to his Instagram Story (which was captured and reposted by Queens of Bravo on TikTok) to tease fans about the on-air haircut. “That’s a wrap and I cut Kyle’s mullet,” Andy said while gleefully holding a bag of Kyle’s hair. Bravo truly is a one-of-a-kind fanbase.

Of course, Andy had big plans to keep Kyle’s locks for Bravo fans of the future to admire. “It’s going to the Clubhouse,” he added. “We need to figure out how to display it, but it’s going there.” Can you imagine the life of a production assistant on WWHL? Truly, they are tasked with one-of-a-kind jobs.

Andy might have been proud to be the one to cut Kyle’s mullet off, but that doesn’t mean he did a good job. “I kind of botched it but you’ll see,” Andy laughed. Uh oh. Hopefully, Amanda quickly made Kyle an appointment at the barbershop to fix Andy’s blunder.
