“Starmites” will shine Apr 26-28 at Colorado Springs School

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The award-winning Colorado Springs School (CSS) is presenting a student production of “Starmites”—a sci-fi musical comedy nominated for Best Broadway Musical in 1989. Performances begin on Friday, April 26, and run through Sunday, April 28.

“Starmites” is a tale about a shy teenager named Eleanor who loves science fiction and comic books and travels in her imagination to another world where she becomes involved in an intergalactic conflict and must go on a quest (aided by the Starmites, the guardian angels of Innerspace) to save the universe from destruction.

“The Starmites is a fun, high-energy show that combines rock music, humor, and an uplifting message about finding your inner hero,” said Jonathan Andujar, director of theatre education at CSS. “Our immensely talented cast and tech crew have been working tirelessly to bring this cosmic adventure to life.”
