Chris Cuomo isn’t the only cable news personality who has had a nasty confrontation in public, according to Jesse Watters of Fox News, who claims he was recently called out by actor Shia LaBeouf.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Ingraham Angle, guest host Watters addressed CNN host Cuomo’s heated exchange with a heckler who called the Italian-American broadcaster “Fredo.” Cuomo responded by cursing out the man and threatening to push his “punk a**” down the stairs.”

While Watters agreed that Cuomo had a right to not be berated in public, he accused the rival broadcaster of “hypocrisy” for, he claims, encouraging the left to confront conservative leaders. Watters went on to share his own experiences with hecklers — including one famous actor.

“You know, the other day, I was at a lounge, the Delta Sky situation, trying to take off for a flight with my family,” Watters shared. “And the actor Shia LaBeouf, or whatever his name is — I think it was him, it looked exactly like him — I walked by and he calls me trash. Right in front of my kids.”

“And I didn’t say anything, I didn’t lose it, but these things happen,” he said.

“You should have called him Indiana Jones Jr.,” joked Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo, citing LaBeouf’s role in 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. “That would have shut him down immediately.”

Yahoo has reached out to the actor’s team for comment.
