Selena Gomez is a woman of many talents. She has an illustrious music career, is a Golden Globes-nominated actor for her work in Only Murders in the Building, and is at the helm of one of the most popular celebrity beauty brands on the market today. She's also recently added another title to her lengthy list of monikers: She's a bonafide manicure muse.

With her go-to manicurist, Tom Bachick, by her side, Gomez always serves up nail inspo that is fun, colorful, and totally wearable. She's tried everything from rainbow pastels to "bubblegum disco" nails, and her latest manicure is just as worthy of adding to your spring mood board.

The Manicure

On April 5, Bachick shared a close-up look at the latest mani he created for the star. Her nails were a longer length than usual, though they weren't super long. She usually switches between a square and a squoval shape, this time picking a true sharp square.

Obviously, the most interesting thing about this manicure was the color. Bachick opted for a bright orange shade that has us dreaming of warm weather ahead. The shade sits somewhere between a pastel and neon and has a creamy finish that reminds us of orange sherbet. While this winter was all about moody hues like gray and deep red, a bright shade like Gomez's is the perfect way to get in the mood for spring.

How to Get the Look

Bachick didn't share the exact polish he used for this mani, but it's fairly simple to get the look at home.

  • Start by prepping your nails. Clean, cut, and file to create your desired shape. If you want to copy Gomez exactly, apply medium-length press-ons with a square tip.

  • Apply a base coat (we like Sally Hansen's Color Therapy, $7) and let dry.

  • Choose your orange shade. For something like Gomez's, try Essie's To DIY For ($10). If you're fairer, you could try a shade like their Frilly Lillies ($10) for a pastel take on the trend. Apply two coats and let dry.

  • Finish off the look with a high-shine top coat and let dry.
