Sunday, April 21 marked what would have been Queen Elizabeth II's 98th birthday. It was also the long-reigning British monarch's second birthday since she died in 2022. So, how will the royal family celebrate her big day?
Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles III and Queen Camilla from 2004 to 2011, shed light on what the royals likely have planned.
"They won't publicly do anything. Privately, I have no doubt they'll raise a toast to her in the evening. I'm sure the day will very much be spent reflecting on the late Queen," Harrold told Slingo, per People.
He continued: "I can almost guarantee that if you were to go to Windsor Castle that day, it's very likely there'll be some flowers on the tomb that have been sent by the family members. Sometimes on royal anniversaries, flowers are sent to royal graves. It's very possible there will be flowers on the tombstone."

Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Queen Elizabeth's son, Prince Andrew, shared a touching birthday tribute.
"Today we are remembering Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on what would have been her 9[8]th birthday," Ferguson wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of the late monarch. "Thank you for all that you have taught us, for being a steadfast leader and dear friend. You are sorely missed."
As of writing, no other senior members of the British royal family had publicly posted about Queen Elizabeth's birthday—perhaps confirming Harrold's prediction of privately remembering. her.
