‘The Queen’s Gambit’ star Anya Taylor-Joy shares her New Orleans wedding pictures from 2022

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Anya Taylor-Joy revealed she got married to Malcolm McRae in New Orleans in 2022.

In an Instagram post, the “The Queen’s Gambit” star shared photos from her wedding. “Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans,” she wrote. “The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever. Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest.”

The photos showed Taylor-Joy in an embroidered Christian Dior wedding gown and cakes in the shape of “anatomically correct hearts.”
