He stated, "Everyone at the London Clinic is acutely aware of our individual, professional, ethical, and legal duties with regard to patient confidentiality. We take enormous pride in the outstanding care and discretion we aim to deliver for all our patients who put their trust in us every day."

He continued: "We have systems in place to monitor the management of patient information and, in the case of any breach, all appropriate investigatory, regulatory, and disciplinary steps will be taken. There is no place at our hospital for those who intentionally breach the trust of any of our patients or colleagues."

Additionally, a clinic spokesperson who spoke to ITV News reiterated the importance of patient privacy, stating, "All our patients, no matter what their status, deserve total privacy and confidentiality regarding their personal medical information."

Kensington Palace Was Informed Of The Hospital Breach

According to a report, the London Clinic notified the palace about the alleged security breach as soon as it was discovered.

Kensington Palace responded, "This is a matter for The London Clinic." Kate was also reportedly informed of the concerning matter.

Following the breach, the hospital issued a statement emphasizing its commitment to safeguarding the private information of patients.

In an interview with The Sun, Ingrid Seward, royal editor of Majesty Magazine, expressed sympathy for the princess, noting that she is already facing challenges as she recuperates from her recent surgery.

Seward emphasized the toll of dealing with such a breach on top of undergoing a serious operation, suggesting that "Kate is probably feeling extremely delicate about this sort of thing and I should think she's very, very fraught and upset about it. She's someone who's obviously used to being in the public eye, but she has undergone a very serious operation."

"We already knew that she would need a significant amount of time to recover from that operation," Seward explained. "While that happens, she has to deal with all of this horrific speculation and conspiracy theory trolling online."
