Nicole Richie can't wait to be an aunt again!

The Good Burger 2 star shared her feelings on sister Sofia Richie’s pregnancy news in an interview with Extra, saying that she was “so excited” for the model.

Nicole, 42, also recently became an auntie to brother-in-law Benji Madden and sister-in-law Cameron Diaz’s second child, a son named Cardinal Madden, who they welcomed in March — and hinted that she may even take on babysitting duties.

“What I should do is I should just get a tattoo and be like, ‘I am the best auntie,’ and just, like, have that, you know?” she joked to the outlet.

However, she noted that she hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to babysitting in the past.

“I was 16 [and] Britney Spears' album just came out… [The girl I was babysitting] loved Britney Spears also and she just, like, performed the whole album for me,” Richie recalled.

She continued, “So, I think I asked her to do it again and so she did a few times and the mom came home and I was like, ‘This was easy — see you next time!’ And then there wasn't a next time. I never got called back.”

Sofia, 25, confirmed in a January interview with Vogue that she was expecting a girl with husband Elliot Grainge, 30, saying, "She’s growing pretty fast, so [the due date] is a bit up in the air.”

She also went on to detail the special way she and Grainge told their parents the big news, saying that they had surprised them with Hermès boxes from Milan Fashion Week.

“Everyone was like ‘Ooooh Hermes!’ But then they opened it and it had all three of the pregnancy tests [in it]. That’s how we told all of our parents," she shared. "Watching their reaction go from like, ‘I’m about to get an expensive present’ to like ‘I’m about to get a grandchild’ was really sweet."

Sofia said she opted to wait until the baby had grown up to a certain point before announcing the baby news because she had “anxiety” about “hitting certain milestones” when it came to the pregnancy, and once the baby hit the 21-week mark, she felt it was safe.

“Pregnancy is really scary and you want to protect that space,” she explained. “I didn’t realize there are so many milestones you have to hit and so many tests you have to take. For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple.”

"Now that I’m there, I feel like I’ve made it over the major hurdles and I feel safe and comfortable announcing it,” she added.
