Morgan Wallen finally broke his silence following his arrest earlier this month, but do fans forgive him?

As The Blast has previously reported, the 'Last Night' singer threw a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church's new six-story bar and restaurant on Sunday, April 7. The chair landed feet away from police officers, who later arrested Wallen on three counts of reckless endangerment.

Weeks following the arrest, Wallen has broken his silence.

Around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, Morgan Wallen was arrested and booked after he nearly hit police officers with a bar chair.

According to a local news station, "At 10:53 pm Sunday [April 7] evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct," his attorney, Worrick Robinson, said in a statement. "He is cooperating fully with authorities."

It is unclear what led the 'Whiskey Glasses' singer to throw the bar chair, but he has since released a statement.

On April 19, Wallen took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to release a statement on the incident. "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks," he stated. "I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."

He added, "I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change."

After reading Wallen's apology, many replied to the country music singer to show their support, while others claimed they would only forgive him if he dropped his new single with Post Malone.

"All can be forgiven, only if you drop that song you made with Post Malone," one user wrote adding a winky face emoji. Others responded to this post saying things such as "For real" and "Yes!"

Last month, Post teased a new single with Wallen, who is heard singing “It takes two to break a heart in two,” before Post comes in with his part: “Baby, you blame me, and baby, I’ll blame you."

The two then sing, "I had some help, it ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself. Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf/ If you couldn’t tell they say teamwork makes the dream work/ Hell I had some help.”

The two have yet to announce a release date for the new song, but the teaser received nothing but positive reviews.

While most of the comments seemed supportive, some said they could not forgive the country music singer for what he did, mainly because of his troubling past.

As The Blast previously reported, Wallen was arrested in 2020 for disorderly conduct at Kid Rock's Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville. Shortly thereafter, he owned up to his actions.

"Hey, y'all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other," he said in a statement released at the time. "We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected."
