Morgan Wallen told Billboard a few years ago that he completed a 30-day rehab program, which he says helped him be more aware of his relationship with alcohol.

“That used to be my warm-up — to get half-lit: ‘I’m going out there, and we’re going to go have fun.’ Now, that is not the way I approach it,” he explained, “I used to be scared to even think about what it would be like to play a show without drinking: ‘That sounds terrible. Why would I ever do that?’ And now I’m almost scared to wonder what it’d be like if I was drunk."

“I’m still figuring out my personal life,” he told the outlet, admitting he doesn't know if he will cut back on drinking when he is not on tour.

The 'Cowgirls' singer has yet to comment on the recent arrest that happened Sunday, April 7, but Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, says he "is cooperating fully with authorities."
