Michelle Williams was on vacation with boyfriend Andrew Youmans before salary drama

Michelle Williams and boyfriend Andrew Youmans are apparently heating up! Shortly after news of the pair’s coupling made headlines, photos surfaced of the pair spending New Year’s Eve together in the Bahamas.

Prior to Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, Williams, 37, was on vacation with Youmans and her 12-year-old daughter, Matilda Ledger. Matilda is the All the Money in the World star’s only child with the late actor, Heath Ledger.

The four-time Oscar nominated actress looked happy and relaxed, lounging on the beach with her beau in a red one-piece swimsuit, white sunglasses, and floppy hat. So, who is the actress’s new flame?

Youmans is an entrepreneur, investor, and financial consultant in New York. According to his profile for the Handel Group, he graduated Dartmouth College and received his MBA from Harvard.

Williams and Youmans were first spotted together on the streets of Rome in July 2017 as the actress filmed All the Money in the World. That film is now at the forefront of Hollywood’s gender pay gap debate as outrage mounts regarding the actress’s salary.

While it was first reported in November that Williams was receiving a fraction of Mark Wahlberg’s payday for reshoots to replace Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer, outrage erupted online on Tuesday when the exact numbers were reported.

Per USA Today, Wahlberg received $1.5 million for around 10 days of work while Michelle Williams was paid an $80 per diem totaling less than $1,000. At the time, director Ridley Scott said he, Williams, and the other actors were essentially doing the work for free. The outlet alleges that Williams wasn’t told of Wahlberg’s hefty fee. Both stars are represented by WME.

Williams’s BFF, Busy Philipps, was one of the many actors to tweet their disgust after learning the news.

The actress has yet to comment on the report, but at least she got a relaxing vacation ahead of the drama.
