Lady Gaga Is Teasing That She’s Working on New Music

Lady Gaga‘s new musical era is seemingly on the way.

The superstar took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday (March 21) to share a photo of audio waves on a screen, implying that she’s recording new music. However, Gaga has yet to confirm any more information about an album or release date.

Fans have been hoping for new music since Gaga’s last album, 2020’s Chromatica, but the 13-time Grammy winner has been spending the past three years on plenty of other projects that she’s been passionate about. Gaga’s recently relaunched Haus Labs makeup brand has been viral all over TikTok, continually coming out with inventive new products, from foundations and illuminating blushes to colorful lip crayons, glosses and everything in between.

In June, the superstar teased that she’s working hard on numerous artistic projects, including an edit for a movie based on her 2022 headlining concert tour. “I prepared for months developing my character for Joker, I filmed [Joker: Folie à Deux] for many months (a very introspective time),” Gaga wrote in a lengthy message. “I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on The Chromatica Ball film edit.”

Earlier this week, the singer announced that she will be back on the stage at the Dolby Live theater at Park MGM for eight shows between June 19 and July 6. Her most recent Jazz & Piano show was in October and since then she has performed a private show at the Fontainebleau in Vegas last month, as well as a Fortnite: Battle Royale gig during the 2024 Fortnite Festival on Feb. 22.
