Kim Kardashian visits 'DWTS: Juniors' only to see her goddaughter eliminated

Kim Kardashian dropped by the Dancing With the Stars: Juniors rehearsal to check in on her goddaughter, Sophia Pippen — daughter of NBA great Scottie Pippen.

Kardashian was on Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars, and she thought she could impart a little wisdom to her 9-year-old goddaughter. Her advice: “I think my shyness really hurt me, so I really want you to be confident. You just have to, like, let it go.”

Pippen was happy to have her godmother at rehearsal. “I feel a lot more confident that I know that Kim has my back,” she said.

Brimming with confidence, Pippen performed a samba inspired by Little Mermaid. The audience was not overly impressed, however, and she was ultimately eliminated.

Coincidentally, both Kardashian and Pippen were cut during the third episode of their respective seasons. Weird.

Dancing With the Stars: Juniors airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
