Kesha gave "Tik Tok" a very timely update.

During a surprise appearance in the midst of Reneé Rapp's performance at Coachella on Sunday, April 14, the "Die Young" singer, 37, performed her 2010 hit "Tik Tok" with the "Tummy Hurts" artist, 24, with a significant change to the first line of the song, per fan-captured footage.

After Rapp announced Kesha was joining her by calling her the "hottest person on the earth," Kesha — sporting an "I am mother" tank top — began singing the opening verse, "Wake up in the morning ...."

However, the duo quickly put their middle fingers up as they revealed the new lyrics: "Like, f--- P. Diddy!" (The original lyrics are, "Wake up in the mornin' feelin' like P. Diddy.")

The lyrics change prompted the audience at the Outdoor Theatre to cheer, as it signaled a powerful statement amid the ongoing sexual abuse and sex trafficking allegations and lawsuits Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing.

Following their impassioned performance, Kesha and Rapp hugged and the "Praying" performer left the stage.

The rapper initially made headlines in November 2023, when his ex Cassie filed a bombshell lawsuit against him, claiming he raped and sex trafficked her over the course of an abusive 10 years.

In the lawsuit filed against Diddy, 54, in New York, she alleged she was stuck in a decade-long “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking” that included a 2018 rape after she tried to leave him, and multiple instances of domestic violence.

The complaint was resolved to their "mutual satisfaction" a day later, however, more people have come forward since then, with some alleging abuse, sex trafficking and gang rape at the hands of the music mogul.

On Dec. 6, 2023, Diddy addressed the allegations.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he wrote in the statement, which was obtained by PEOPLE. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”

In March 2024, his properties were raided by federal agents, which were "part of an ongoing investigation," a Homeland Security Investigations representative told PEOPLE.

"There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name," his attorney Aaron Dyer said in a statement at the time.
