Kelly Ripa and Husband Mark Consuelos Share Rare PDA Photo

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have now been married for 28 years, the happy couple excitedly reminded their fans this week.

The Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts celebrated nearly three decades of marriage with some adorable photos they shared on Instagram on Wednesday, May 1.

In her 10-part Instagram post, Ripa, 53, kicked off the photo series with a rare PDA-filled snap. In the photo, both Ripa and Consuelos, 53, appeared to be enjoying some sand and sun while each wearing bathing suits. Consuelos kissed Ripa’s shoulder as she leaned into him with her eyes closed, her head resting against his.

The photos that followed showed various aspects of the couple’s life together over the years, including snapshots of Ripa and Consuelos in their early days of parenthood and more recent red carpet snaps.

“Squeezing 28 years into 10 pics is not possible, but you get the idea,” Ripa wrote in her Instagram caption. “Happy anniversary to the love of my life @instasuelos ♥️ So grateful to you for all the dreams come true.”

Consuelos also shared a four-part Instagram post featuring more recent images of himself striking various poses with his bride. The first photo included in his post showed the two posing on top of a tandem bicycle, an image that Consuelos tied in with his caption.

“Forever thankful you decided to go on this crazy, beautiful ride with me,” he wrote. "Happy 28th anniversary. Love you @kellyripa.”

Ripa and Consuelos first met in the mid-1990s while starring on the popular ABC soap opera All My Children. They were married on May 1, 1996, a little more than a year after they met, and went on to have three children together: Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21.

A few years after they were married, in 2001, Ripa joined Live as one of the morning talk show’s co-hosts. Consuelos joined the show as her new co-host last year, replacing Ryan Seacrest.
