'All My Children' Alum Cameron Mathison Poses With 'Incredible' Daughter for Prom Photos

Cameron Mathison, who played the character Ryan Lavery for years on All My Children, let a few tears go as he sent his daughter Leila off to her senior prom.
On Sunday, April 28, the actor shared a few photos via Instagram from the emotional family moment.
"Leila, I want you to know that you are always on my mind and in my heart," he wrote in a sweet message to his daughter. "I’m so grateful for every moment I get to spend with you, and remember no matter where life takes you always know that you are loved beyond measure."
"You are such an incredible daughter and I’m so proud of the person you have become. Love dad❤️," he concluded before admitting he shed some tears in the last photo, which showed Mathison facing away from the camera as his daughter hugged him tight.
Mathison's teenage daughter looked beautiful for her senior prom in a simple black dress with spaghetti straps and lace accents. She had a corsage on her wrist and styled her hair in a low updo with loose pieces around her face.
The 54-year-old's wife, Vanessa, commented on the prom pics, writing, "We are lucky beyond belief❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," while Leila replied to her father, "Oh papa I love you so much…. Will never forget this moment ❤️."
"So beautiful and your words are very touching. #1 Dad for sure!" wrote a fan, as another complimented Leila, saying, "What a beauty with a sweet, kind heart ❤️."
In addition to Leila, Mathison and Vanessa share a son named Lucas, who is a few years older than their daughter.
The proud father appears to be enjoying life and good health these days after surviving kidney cancer a few years ago. Mathison is still a hardworking actor, appearing on General Hospital and partnering with the Great American Family network for multiple projects.
