Kate Middleton Has Internet Sleuths Up in Arms Following the Latest Video

After weeks of speculation and rampant conspiracy theories online, Kate Middleton was spotted grocery shopping with her husband Prince William in a brand new video. The clip must have quieted down rumors, right? Well, not so fast.

Following TMZ’s video of the Prince and Princess of Wales walking cheerfully at the Windsor Farm Shop, eagle-eyed fans analyzed every bit of the video, and the rumors are far from halting anytime soon.

In one tweet, for example, one internet sleuth states the woman in the video might not be Middleton because of their height difference. To show their point, the user showed the significant height difference between Middleton and William in an old photo. As a reminder, William is said to be 6′ 3″ while Middleton is reported to be 5′ 9″. In the new video, however, the duo seems much closer in height.

In another few tweets, users are saying that it isn’t Middleton in the grainy video because she looks too different. Among the differences were a “higher hairline, higher cheekbones, stronger chin and a slightly longer but stronger face.”

“I’m not saying this isn’t Will and Kate, but also I would not be shocked if John Oliver revealed he hired a pair of look-alikes to prance around Windsor as a bit,” wrote another user, suggesting that the royals aren’t really who TMZ said they were.

And while some users have zoomed into Middleton’s appearance, others have questioned whether the pair’s behavior makes sense with her so-called whereabouts. “I don’t know if this is Kate Middleton or not, but if so, her husband, a whole-a– Prince is ungentlemanly by making his wife carry a bag,” noticed one user. “The same wife who is recovering from serious abdominal surgery 😠.”

In other words, in addition to not looking like Middleton for many, having her walk quickly and carry bags only makes us more baffled by the recovering-from-surgery storyline. It looks like the video has only opened another can of worms.
