Going on business trips — or in Kaley Cuoco’s case, filming a TV show out of town — is hard when you have little kids at home. Luckily, technology can help bridge the gap…at least, if your baby isn’t distracted. When The Big Bang Theory alum tried to connect with her 1-year-old daughter Matilda “Tildy” Carmine, who she shares with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey, it went adorably wrong.

“Good morning FaceTimes with the chunk 😂,” Cuoco wrote over a screenshot of her FaceTiming her 1-year-old on her Instagram story. Cuoco has her mouth wide open as Tildy looks at the screen with a cute little smirk. A “good morning” sticker with dancing suns is put on top of the picture.

Everything is going super cutely — until Pelphrey comes in the room. The Based on a True Story star shared another FaceTime picture with her daughter hours later, this time as her baby girl sits in Pelphrey’s lap. While Cuoco gives a shocked face from her little screen in the corner, Tildy and Pelphrey are completely focused on each other. Tildy is completely enthralled with her dad, just staring at him as he makes a wide-eyed silly face.

“Family FaceTime but she only has eyes for Dada 🤣 @tommypelphrey,” Cuoco wrote over the photo. (PEOPLE has screenshots of the photos HERE.)

That’s tough! I’m sure she misses her baby desperately while she’s out of town, but at the same time, it’s so cute to see how much Tildy loves her dad. And to know that she is totally happy and content at home with her dad while Cuoco is working? That must feel like such a relief. Not that moms should feel guilty for working out of town, but still. It’s nice to see firsthand how totally OK your baby is while you’re gone for a little bit.

Cuoco shared an update about how her and Pelphrey are managing caring for their daughter while they both work on new projects. Pelphrey is shooting an HBO drama series and two other series, while Cuoco is filming Season 2 of Based on a True Story. “I’ve actually been in Philadelphia the last few months while Tom’s been shooting,” the mom of 1 told E! News earlier this week. “So now I get to come back and go to work and yeah, we just kind of trade off and our daughter is so happy. And so that’s all that matters. She added, “I’m excited for her to come to set for a few days and be with mom at work.”

There’s no competing with Pelphrey though. In January, the Role Play star told PEOPLE that Pelphrey is the “apple” of Tildy’s eye. “Whenever he walks in the room, she only wants to be with him. She is a total daddy’s girl,” Cuoco gushed about her “fantastic” and “incredible” partner.

“He loves her more than anything in the world,” Cuoco added about the Love & Death star.

The feeling is clearly mutual!
