Justin Lin To Direct ‘Stakehorse’ For Amazon MGM Studios

EXCLUSIVE: Justin Lin has come aboard to direct Stakehorse for Amazon MGM Studios from a script penned by Justin Piasecki. Hidden Pictures’ Todd Lieberman and Alex Young will produce, with Lin producing through his Perfect Storm Entertainment banner and Piasecki executive producing.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film is being described as a crime thriller.
Piasecki’s script was No. 2 on the latest Black List.

Lin has been staying busy as of late. He’s going back to his indie roots with The Last Days of John Allen Chau, which is heading into production soon, and also has the Apple thriller Two for the Money with Charlize Theron and Daniel Craig starring and is developing One Punch Man for Sony Pictures.

Piasecki most recently penned the Dave Mackenzie pic Relay, starring Lily James and Riz Ahmed.

Lin is repped by CAA and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
