The President’s granddaughter has been seen at many events during Biden’s term and frequently reaches for heels with a simple silhouette. In May 2023, Finnegan Biden wore pastel yellow pointed-toe pumps to attend the coronation of King Charles III in London and a pair of sandals with a stiletto heel to the coronation reception. In January 2021, she wore another pair of classic suede pumps, the shoes featured a pointed-toe and four-inch stiletto heel.

About the Shoes

The heels Finnegan Biden wore to the White House last night are tan sandals with slim straps across the ankle and vamp. The shoe has a tall, stiletto heel, and blends in, showing off her bright red dress. The style is incredibly popular in women’s fashion as a basic silhouette and is sold by brands such as Dolce Vita, Stuart Weitzman and Steve Madden.

Strappy Sandals

Sandals with a heel are a staple silhouette in celebrity fashion and politics — first lady Jill Biden is often seen in the style among other classic heels. This week at the CMT Awards, Trisha Yearwood donned a pair of black strappy sandals similar to those Biden wore to receive the June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. Regina Hall also went for sandals this spring, wearing a red strappy Stuart Weitzman heel to the Mark Twain Prize ceremony in Washington D.C.
