I’ve been keeping up with Jennifer Lopez for as long as I can remember. And lately, her style has taken a dramatic turn that’s honestly becoming my new blueprint.

Ironically, her latest street style look is actually the opposite of dramatic: The Shotgun Wedding star keeps wearing comfortable sweatsuits, and her latest bright blue lounge look is so colorful, fun, and the opposite of everything I’ve been wearing all winter long. It’s also starkly different from the muted matching sets seen on stars like Martha Stewart, Reese Witherspoon, and Sofía Vergara.

While I love that J.Lo’s over-the-top ’fits are unapologetically J.Lo, I just don’t have many places to wear a hot pink sequined mini dress in my ordinary life. But the sweatsuits? That, I can wear. And I do. Even though they are, in fact, still sweats, there’s still a little semblance of effort since my outfit at least looks coordinated. They’re also so comfy and my favorite for zoom meetings (just add some bold earrings) and coffee runs.

I own beige, black, green, and gray matching sets, but no blue ones — we’re fixing that this spring, and I’m peeping this $40 option from Fixmatti. It comes with a crewneck top that I love because I won’t stress about my makeup rubbing off (it always gets on the neckline of my hoodies), and it looks slimmer-fitting, which I’ve found looks more made up. That also means it’s going to feel more lightweight, which we all need in the spring and summer.

I’m also not one to stray from my neutrals too often, but I’m thinking I’ll dip my toes into the colorful clothes world with this Prettygarden set. It’s a lighter blue, so it feels like a nice transitional piece, and it even reminds me of the Spanx loungewear Oprah approves of. And actually, one shopper agreed, adding that “the fabric of this outfit is soft and luxurious.”

I’m a big believer in accessories, and I think J.Lo’s big bag — another trend we’ve seen her wear — completed her look. This now-$40 option can be carried by hand, so it looks more like a purse than a shoulder tote, yet it isn’t compact like a crossbody bag. It also comes with a mini wristlet, which for an overpacker like myself, is critical for keeping the inside of my bags tidy.
