Jenna Bush Hager is hosting a rather unusual celebration of love — and it involves her cats!

On Thursday's episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Bush Hager, 42, shared a short update about her two beloved cats, Hollywood and Mango.

"By the way, I need to announce that my cats, Hollywood and Mango, are getting married this weekend," she told co-host Hoda Kotb.

"You’re having a ceremony?" Kotb, asked excitedly, to which Bush Hager replied, "We’re having a ceremony!"

The Today host, first introduced Hollywood, her first furry family member on Instagram in January 2023 after mentioning she welcomed the kitten to her family around Christmas earlier in the month — despite dealing with cat allergies.

"Do you see why we call her Hollywood?" Bush Hager said in the post showing off the new family cat. "She's beautiful."

"We call her 'Holly' for short," she added. "Holly, middle name 'Wood,' last name 'Hager,' " the cat mom added in the Instagram video.

Just about one year later, she revealed that she had welcomed another furry friend to her family — Mr. Mango Mellow was given to her 8-year-old daughter Poppy as a Christmas present in December 2023.

Asked by Kotb how Mr. Mango Mellow's name was chosen at the time, Bush Hager said it wasn't her choice. "I didn't name him. He's Poppy's. I can't go inside that brilliant brain," she added, noting that "he looks like a marshmallow."

"We got him yesterday, and it's so far so good," Bush Hager added. "Santa gave Poppy the baby, and she was so excited she nearly started to cry. She told all her friends."

At the time, the mother of three noted that Hollywood was "happy to have a baby brother" and that the two cats were spooning. "Mila was like, 'Eww, what is spooning?'... She's like, 'That sounds nasty.' She was just like, 'Yuck,' "Hager recalled. "I was like, 'Spooning is just one person cuddling the other person.' She's like, 'Eww! Holly doesn't like that!' "

In addition to Poppy, Bush Hager is also mom to son Hal, 4, and daughter Mila, 10.

Although Bush Hager is a self-proclaimed cat lady, she revealed that her allergies worsened when Mango joined their family, joking at the time her family got Mango that she "took an extra Zyrtec, and everything's all good."

Despite the challenges with allergies and being called a "cat lady" (as Kotb put it) the daughter of former President George W. Bush said she is happy with all her pets.

"As a little girl, I loved cats so much. They were the forbidden fruit 'cause I was highly allergic," she continued, noting that her mother — former First Lady Laura Bush — had a cat named Dewey after the Dewey Decimal System (a nod to her role as a librarian).

"From the time we were born, we had a cat. And I would just sit there, sucking my thumb with my eyes swollen shut 'cause I'm highly allergic. And I don't care. So here we are," Bush Hager finished.

Today with Hoda and Jenna airs weekdays (10 a.m. ET) on NBC.
