Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb on the 'Today' show

On Sunday, April 14, Hannah Waddingham walked the red carpet in London before hosting the Olivier Awards. The Ted Lasso star rocked a lavender dress layered with tulle for the awards show—and she didn't hesitate to put a photographer in his place after he requested that she "show some leg."

Now, Today co-hosts, Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb have weighed in on the viral moment.

"You know who said, 'Mama's done,' yesterday? Hannah Waddingham," Kotb declared on Today with Hoda & Jenna. "Hannah Waddingham is making headlines because she was on the red carpet for an award ceremony."

"Yes, she was walking down, looking gorgeous," Bush Hager continued.  "And then all of the sudden, a photographer thought it was a good idea to yell out these words, 'Show me leg!'"

Today then played a clip of the viral moment. "Oh my God, you'd never say that to a man, my friend," Waddingham scolded a photographer. "Don't be a d---, otherwise I'll move off. Don't say, 'Show me your leg.'"

Bush Hager and Kotb agreed that no one would think of saying that to a man. Kotb also pointed out that Waddingham has "been in this industry a long time," calling her a "formidable actress." Meanwhile, Bush Hager lauded the Game of Thrones star as "an amazing actor" and "an amazing mother."

In the comments, Instagram users seemed to agree. One person wrote, "Yes. Good for her… you don’t have to 'show leg' to look beautiful in a photo & she’s right, you never hear them shouting things like that to a man. Why are women expected to show all the skin ??"

Another person commented, "Need more women like this to call out the disrespect!" while someone else wrote, "Good for her!!! Don’t care what kind of shot he wanted to get, it was disrespectful!!"

Yet another Instagram user declared, "Love her! Well done Hannah!👏👏👏👏"
