Jax Taylor on Kristen Doute Friendship: ‘Depends on the Day’

Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute are at it again. (But when are they not?) And their drama is available for all to see on their new spinoff, The Valley.
Whether The Valley will win big or flap hard has yet to be seen. The show is still in the middle of its first season. But regardless of what the final verdict may be, the show’s been creating a great deal of chatter.
A lot of the conversation around the show is thanks in no small part to Jax’s separation from Brittany Cartwright. However, despite any interpersonal issues, the show must go on. Jax and Kristen know that all too well.
Who creates the most drama on The Valley?
Life & Style recently interviewed the cast of The Valley to discuss all things related to the show. When asked how they were “getting along with Kristen these days,” Brittany answered, “She’s one of my dearest friends!” Jax, on the other hand, said, “The usual. Depends on the day or even the hour.”
Another question saw the cast answering who brought the most drama. Jax gave Kristen as one of his answers but admitted it was a toss-up between her and Jesse Lally. He added, “You’ll see me in a different light, but, if we’re being completely honest, there’s always a little villainous side to me.”
For her part, Kristen answered, “I’m sure some will say me, but it’s definitely Jesse!” Luke Broderick added, “Jax is always stirring the pot, but most of the heavy drama is between Jesse and Kristen.” And the drama between Jax, Kristen, and Jesse rages on.
Nevertheless, Kristen felt her relationship with Luke provided a much-needed reprieve from all the drama. “Luke is exactly the person I’ve needed in my life. We balance each other. When I’m overwhelmed, he is able to calm me, and vice versa.” Luke added “Wedding bells are likely in the future. I have to make a special trip to the jewelry store before we start planning.”
