Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda shared a special moment during a rare public outing with her granddaughter, Viva Vadim, earlier this week.

Fonda and her granddaughter were photographed attending the 2024 TIME Earth Awards Gala at Second on Wednesday, April 24, in New York City.

The 86-year-old actress and activist wore a bright purple pantsuit, which she paired with a dark violet silk button-up, silver strappy heels, and several pieces of jewelry. For her glam, she styled her shoulder-length gray locks in blown-out waves and added a pop of pink with berry lipstick and rosy blush.

As for the 21-year-old, she was seen rocking a black midi shift dress, sheer black tights and a pair of patent leather Mary Janes. Viva adorned herself in a few rings and statement earrings, opting to go without a necklace or much makeup. She completed the look with a neutral-toned lip color and mascara.

Viva is the youngest of two children from the Grace and Frankie alum's daughter Vanessa, whom Fonda welcomed with her first husband and the late French screenwriter Roger Vadim. Along with Viva, Vanessa also has a son named Malcolm.

The Barbarella actress has made several standout red carpet appearances in the past year or so, starting over the summer, when Fonda proved age is just a number in a tropical print number she wore while speaking at the June 2023 fundraising event. Months later, the 80 for Brady star cozied up with Mariska Hargitay for a set of stunning red carpet photos during an October 2023 awards show in NYC.

We can't wait to see what the rest of her 2024 has in store for fans and fashionistas.
