Michael Strahan's daughter shared that she developed a bond with Louisiana State University football player Greg Brooks Jr., who is also undergoing treatment for medulloblastoma.
"He thought he had vertigo just like me, so I thought our stories were so similar," Isabella explained in her March 26 YouTube video. "Then he discovered it was not vertigo, and we're on the same kind of treatment schedules."
Since they connected, Isabella has regularly checked in with Greg and his family, who have all leaned on each other during this difficult time. In the video, the Strahan family shows their support for the athlete by donning "Pray for Greg Brooks" sweatshirts.
"I keep very close touch with him, and I can't wait to meet him in person one day," she noted. "He's the sweetest. I just love his family and him so, so much. They've helped me."
And it turns out Greg—who announced his diagnosis in October—and Isabella are also on a similar treatment schedule.
"I just finished my second cycle of chemo, he just finished his second cycle," she said. "We're making it through together. Fight on."
And Isabella finishing her second cycle was a major milestone in her battle and now has four more rounds to go. She even celebrated the achievement alongside mom Jean Muggli by decorating the window of her room, making taco salad and staying hydrated.
Along with the Brooks family, Isabella has had unwavering support from Michael, Jean and twin sister Sophia. Keep reading to get to know the Strahan family.

OpenAI's video generation tool Sora took the AI community by surprise in February with fluid, realistic video that seems miles ahead of competitors. Shy Kids is a digital production team based in Toronto that was picked by OpenAI as one of a few to produce short films essentially for OpenAI promotional purposes, though they were given considerable creative freedom in creating "air head." In an interview with visual effects news outlet fxguide, post-production artist Patrick Cederberg described "actually using Sora" as part of his work. Perhaps the most important takeaway for most is simply this: While OpenAI's post highlighting the shorts lets the reader assume they more or less emerged fully formed from Sora, the reality is that these were professional productions, complete with robust storyboarding, editing, color correction, and post work like rotoscoping and VFX.
Earnings presentations from four of the biggest tech companies in the world showed two very different visions of AI: the moonshot and the incremental gains.
