‘It’s huge’: Galaxycon coming to Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An actor known for his many roles, including Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, is coming to Oklahoma City.

News 4’s Lucas Ross spoke with Barry Bostwick on Wednesday about his career and the upcoming Galaxycon.

“It’s huge, it’s huge, a family affair,” said Bostwick. “There’s events in the convention, Q&As with all the different people and exhibitions and workshops and parties, a lot of parties”.

Galaxycon Oklahoma City is a three-day convention featuring celebrities, artists, writers, voice actors, cosplayers, entertainers, creators, wrestlers, fan groups, panelists and more.

The convention is Friday-Saturday, May 24-26, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Bostwick, who is known for his roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City and Grease on Broadway, will be there.

“I’m doing a screening of Rocky Horror Picture show on Saturday night where I do a meet and greet beforehand and we have a shadow cast and we do the whole movie,” Bostwick added. “You get to throw things at me and at the screen and at each other and yell, uh, filthy things in Oklahoma City.”

Some other celebrities that will be in OKC for Galaxycon include George Takei, Joey Fatone, Mara Wilson and more.
