‘Harlem’ Expands Cast Ahead of Season 3 Premiere

Harlem has revealed a slate of new faces are joining the cast. The comedy series announced four new recurring characters, joining an already colorful story in the upcoming third season: Kofi Siriboe, Robin Givens, Logan Browning, and Gail Bean.

Per Deadline, Siriboe steps in as Seth, an MLB player whose confident, charming, and sweet mannerisms land him a spot in one of the ladies’ hearts. Browning will play Portia, an edgy and beautiful woman from Ian’s (Tyler Lepley) childhood, whose return to Harlem causes a stir.

Bean will also portray Eva, a driven, yet playful, venture capitalist who has started working with Tye (Jerrie Johnson), with Givens playing Eva’s no-nonsense mother Jacqueline.

The series is led by Johnson, Meagan Good,  Grace Byers, and Soniqua Shandai as the four central characters—Tye, Camille, Quinn, and Angie, respectively. Harlem debuted in December 2021 and aired its second season last year.

“The only thing more fun than making season two of Harlem was getting to travel across the country and watch it with our fans!” detailed Oliver in season 3’s a statement in December 2023. “Thanks to everyone who showed up to support and, watched it at home! We’re so grateful for all the love and can’t wait to bring you an even juicier season three.

Harlem has continued to tell outrageously hilarious stories through the perspective of these uniquely special characters. Fans can look forward to more laughs, wit, and cultural commentary from the brilliant mind of Tracy Oliver and the amazing cast, Meagan, Grace, Jerrie, and Shoniqua,” added Vernon Sanders, head of television, at Amazon MGM Studios.

Harlem season three is directed by Stacey Muhammad. who also serves as a co-executive producer this season, as well as Shea Vanderpoort, and Tasha Smith. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Paper Kite Productions. In addition to Oliver, Paper Kite’s Amy Poehler, and Kim Lessing also serve as executive producers with 3 Arts’ Dave Becky, Britt Matt, Pharrell Williams, and Mimi Valdés from i am OTHER.
