Superstar Drew Barrymore's house is garnering praise online for an unusual reason: it's delightfully normal.

The Drew Barrymore Show host, 49, posted a TikTok video on Mar. 12 showing a glimpse into her humble home as she accomplished some typical at-home tasks and shared just how much she loved “staying in.”

In the video, she looks into the camera as the words, “I like staying in,” can be heard in the background. The next scene then cuts to Barrymore in her kitchen as she cooked some sunny-side eggs on her medium-sized stove next to a small counter space.

“I know everyone thinks it’s boring, but it’s really not,” the voiceover says. “It’s the least boring thing. I am really happy being a happy little hermit. I love being at home. I never wanna go anywhere.”

The actress then showed herself modeling some clothes in her medium-sized walk-in-closet, which featured racks of clothing on both sides of the wall, a dresser in the back wall and photos of her daughters in the back. She also showed a funny clip using her toes to press a button to pour a drink into her cup and a shot of herself eating at her moderately-sized dining room table with a tablecloth.

“I love staying in,” she captioned the video.

Several commenters on TikTok noted just how normal the space seemed. “I love that your house looks like a home and not just a show piece,” one user wrote.

Another said, "You give off the vibes of you just bought your apartment and are staying there, so wholesome and cuteeeee.”

Some appeared confused by the living space, including one person who asked, “Is it possible that you live in a normal house?!”

Another TikTok user commented, “Wait, don’t you have a chef?”

A few days later, she showed more of her kitchen, while showing off a new kitchen island from her Beautiful by Drew home decor line. Her cozy kitchen, complete with colorful patterned curtains and tile, can be seen throughout as she glides around the kitchen in sneakers while styling the piece different ways.
