‘Fallout 76’ Is Now Free For New Prime Members Following TV Adaptation

With the release of the “Fallout” TV series on Prime Video, Amazon has partnered with Bethesda Softworks and Microsoft to give away copies of the “Fallout 76” video game (about a $40 value) for Xbox Series X/S (or the previous generation Xbox One) and PC.

In addition to “Fallout 76,” Prime Gaming has “Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel,” “Chivalry 2,” “Black Desert” and “Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop” for free for Prime members.

Released in 2018 for Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4 and PC, “Fallout 76” is an online multiplayer action RPG (role-playing game) and the tenth installment in the very popular gaming franchise. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland in the year 2102, you play a resident of Vault 76, a fallout shelter, who goes out into the world to re-colonize “Appalachia” (West Virginia), as you discover the mysterious plague that nearly wiped out humanity.

For Amazon Prime members only, “Fallout 76” is available for free for Xbox Series X/S (or Xbox One) and PC via Prime Gaming. Meanwhile, the game is also available on Xbox Game Pass for subscribers.
