Sorry tabloids, the "Duplex" director never found the list.

Drew Barrymore made a list, but only Danny DeVito can check it twice.

During Wednesday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the daytime host was joined by CBS MorningsTony Dokoupil, Ross Matthews, Nate Burleson, and Vladimir Duthiers to break down the trendiest headlines of the day. Among them was an Independent report revealing that millennial women are making lists on their phones of people they’ve had sex with. While the rest of her panel couldn't relate to the trend, Barrymore admitted that it’s something she used to do herself.

“I made a list,” she shared. “It was back in the day. I did it with paper and pen. I’m the most disorganized person, I lose everything… I left it at someone’s house.”

While her co-hosts reacted with shock, Barrymore explained, “I was producing a film that Danny DeVito was directing. I wrote the list on the back of a set of notes for the film… So I left it at Danny DeVito’s house.”

Barrymore described the list as a single page of "full names" that thankfully included no further details. She added, “I did admit it to him. He came on the show and I was like, 'I left my sex list at your house.’”

While the audience rumbled with laughed, Burleson quipped, "You are way too honest."

Later, when Dokoupil considered the benefits of being honest via a hookup list, Matthews made it clear that he has no interest in knowing any of the dirty details… for the most part.

"I don’t even like the idea of making the list. Lists are for groceries. I don’t want to know mine. I don’t want to know yours... I kind of want to know Drew’s,” Mathews said, to which Barrymore joked, “Just call Danny DeVito. He’ll tell you.”

Lucky for her, DeVito has already assured the world that he won’t be sharing the list with anyone because he never actually found it. When Barrymore admitted to losing the piece of paper at his house during his September 2022 appearance on her show, the Duplex director cracked jokes, but eventually shrugged off her concern.

“As a matter of fact, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about this. Some of the names on that…” he jokingly trailed off, while Barrymore put her face in her hands. He then quipped: “I made a copy of it and it’s gonna be in my autobiography.”

After some laughter, DeVito assured her, “I never saw it. Your secret’s safe with me.”
