Circus Vargas arrives in Ventura, prepares for series of shows

The circus arrived in town this week.

Circus Vargas raised its big top tent Wednesday at the Ventura County Fairgrounds and will host shows Friday through June 3.

The theme is Jubilé! An Epic World Celebration and includes performers from 15 countries. Veteran Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson guides the audience through a show of acrobatics and super human feats. To learn more, visit Circusvargas.com/tickets.
