Brian Austin Green seems to take great joy in raising his three sons with Megan Fox — now and then, the pair share pix of their brood on social media — but the actor’s ex Vanessa Marcil claims he’s completely cut their son out of his life.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 and General Hospital actress unloaded her secret on Instagram on Sunday. She wrote about the long custody battle she had with Green and Fox over 16-year-old Kassius Green, which she says she ultimately won. However, she said that after it was resolved — and Green was denied full custody of the child — he stopped seeing his son. Kassius has never met his youngest half-brother, Journey, 2, Marcil says.

As usual I can’t wait to see @lisalingstagram show on custody cases. 12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody(that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support. They lost that case & a civil case asking me for 200,000. I never spoke publicly in order to protect my then young son from paparazzi that used to follow him & terrify him. I had also never asked for child support of any kind and had never tried to take time away from Kass’ dad seeing him. Ever. In the end they lost all of these court cases. The judge called them all “Frivolous” They always had 50% custody and still did when court ended as I had and have NEVER asked for full custody. Then, 5 years ago on their own they decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and his younger brothers’ lives. Kass has never met his youngest brother and is not allowed to know where his bio father, stepmother and three younger brothers live. Custody cases hurt the children only and the truth shall set us all free. Put the kids first you guys. There shouldn’t be a “more important parent” kids love both parents equally no matter what either parent’s struggles may be. Kass has been truly heartbroken since being cut out of his other families lives with NO explanation. Let’s do better for our kids. Let’s share our stories. #Buddhakids

After mentioning the This Is Life With Lisa Ling episode about nasty divorce child-custody battles, Marcil launched into her story, writing, “12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody (that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support. They lost that case & a civil case asking me for 200,000.”

She continued, “I never spoke publicly in order to protect my then young son from paparazzi that used to follow him & terrify him. I had also never asked for child support of any kind and had never tried to take time away from Kass’ dad seeing him. Ever. In the end they lost all of these court cases. The judge called them all ‘Frivolous.’ They always had 50% custody and still did when court ended as I had and have NEVER asked for full custody.”

Marcil said the relationship between father and son changed “5 years ago” when “on their own they decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and his younger brothers’ lives. Kass has never met his youngest brother and is not allowed to know where his bio father, stepmother and three younger brothers live.”

She ended her post by writing, “Custody cases hurt the children only and the truth shall set us all free. Put the kids first you guys. There shouldn’t be a ‘more important parent’ kids love both parents equally no matter what either parent’s struggles may be. Kass has been truly heartbroken since being cut out of his other families lives with NO explanation. Let’s do better for our kids. Let’s share our stories.”

Commenters on the post were super-supportive of Marcil. “Thankfully Kass has you,” wrote one. “This kills my heart,” posted another. Some did not pen PG responses, sharing many negative comments about Green and Fox. Yahoo Entertainment has reached out to reps for the couple for comment. However, Green hasn’t publicly said that he’s estranged from his son. Last year he shared a photo of them on social media, marveling at how grown up the boy was.

Green and Marcil fell in love on the set of 90210 and had their only son together in 2002, splitting soon after. Green and Fox started dating in 2004 and married in 2010. Their son Noah was born in 2012, Bodhi in 2014, and Journey — the one Marcil claims Kassius hasn’t met — in 2016.

Green’s lawsuit against Marcil made headlines in 2012. He alleged that he had been loaning Marcil money since 2000 and wanted to be reimbursed. At the time, it was pointed out that Green and Fox, the star of the Transformers franchise, had recently purchased a $3 million home.

As Marcil said, the suit was ultimately tossed out by the judge, who said Green waited too long to pursue legal action. Marcil was told she could seek monetary sanctions from Green. The story from that time did note that the lawsuit was called “frivolous,” but TMZ reported that Marcil’s lawyers used that term.

Marcil is perhaps best known for being a soap star, playing the role of Brenda on GH from 1992 to 2015. She has been candid with her social media followers about her personal struggles, also including suffering a miscarriage — her seventh — earlier this year.
