Beyoncé is promoting her latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” in Asia wearing gear heavily inspired by the American West. The singer opted for an all Black, all leather look for her latest Instagram post from Japan, including a pair of pointed-toe cowboy boots.
Pointed-toe boots seem to be Beyoncé’s go-to style lately. Working with stylist Shiona Turini on her most recent ensemble, she also notably wore a pair of pointed-toe boots when she picked up her Innovator Award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards. At that Los Angeles-based event, she opted for a pair of boots bedecked with Tribute medallions from Versace. More recently, she slipped into a pair of Ferragamo boots in beige. She wore those while promoting the album in Japan.
“Cowboy Carter” was released in March and features heavy country influences. The star commented that this was not a country album but was a “Beyonce album.” It features songs like “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “16 Carriages” and “II Hands II Heaven.”
About the Shoe
Though the shoe is not completely visible, Beyoncé is wearing a black boot in her look. The boot is patent leather with a high gloss and sharp, pointed toe. It is also likely heeled and features a double sole.

The global star has been on a shoe kick recently, not only of the pointed-toe variety and not only in support of her “Cowboy Carter” era. During her Renaissance World Tour, the performer and her fans often wore a variety of boots including over-the-knee, thigh-high and knee high styles from labels like Gedebe and Jimmy Choo — Choo supplied the star with 41 custom pairs for the tour. But over the span of her career she’s worn all sorts of footwear.
Through her Ivy Park label, which had a longstanding partnership with Adidas, she even released sneakers.
