Fashion archive Baraboux originally began as a leather goods store, run by current founder Sarah Faisal's mom. When her mom left the business, Faisal decided to turn the community-oriented space into an archive of fashion pieces and now hosts events, appointments and occasional clothing sales.

Outsourced Vintage

Outsourced Vintage is an East London vintage store run by Sherin and Zsumana and is a space passed down from 3 generations of women, beginning with Sherin's grandmother, then mom and now her. Born in Hungary, Sherin grew up wearing secondhand clothing sourced by her mom and grandma and eventually turned to Depop to begin selling pre-loved clothing. Fast-forward a couple of years, and Outsourced Vintage was born. Now a community space, showroom and store, the space hosts private appointment, events and shopping experiences.

Granny Takes A Trip

Granny Takes A Trip was initially founded in London back in the 1960s by Nigel Waymouth, Sheila Cohen and John Pearse. Initially beginning as a place to sell Cohen's own wardrobe, the store soon evolved into its own label of clothing, selling garments made from upholstery fabrics. Eventually, the store changed hands and expanded into the US before closing all locations in 1981. Now, Granny Takes A Trip is back and bigger than ever, selling deadstock garments and offering a rental service.

Royal Trinity Hospice

Traid

Probably one of the most experimental charity shop chains in the U.K., Traid features a visually arresting array of vintage and pre-loved items across its 12 stores. In locations from Peckham and Hammersmith to Camden and Wood Green, there's likely to be a local store near you no matter where in London you are.
