'7 Little Johnstons' Amber Posts Throwback Photos With Trent to Mark 29 Years Together

Amber Johnston, who stars on the long-running reality show 7 Little Johnstons with her family, celebrated 29 long years together with her husband, Trent Johnston, by sharing some special snaps from years past.

The 45-year-old took to Instagram to mark the occasion, writing, "We chose each other….💛 29 Years Ago 💛! @trentjohnston7lj," along with several photos of the couple over the years.

The first pic featured the two posing at what looked like a high school dance, followed by some other sweet photos of the couple with their arms around one another at different ages.

Amber and Trent reportedly met when they were teenagers, getting married in 1998 and having their first child, Jonah, in 1999. They then had a daughter named Elizabeth "Liz" in 2001, before adopting daughters Anna and Emma and their son Alex over the years after.

The family's adventures and personal struggles are depicted in the reality show 7 Little Johnstons, which first started in 2015 and is currently airing season 14.

Throughout the show, Amber and Trent have been open about marriage difficulties and working through hardship together, with the former telling GoodHousekeeping in 2019, "We know that a relationship, parenting, and marriage is a constant work in progress. With both of us feeling that and knowing that, we don’t give up."

Currently, Amber and Trent are enjoying life as first-time grandparents, as their daughter Liz welcomed a little girl named Leighton with her ex-boyfriend Brice Bolden in November 2023. The family continues to share updates on Leighton as she passes exciting milestones.

As the show is always a little bit behind real-life events, recent episodes of 7 Little Johnstons followed Liz and Brice's breakup, as well as the youngest Johnston children, Emma and Alex, as they went to junior prom. Emma also took on her first job and her older sister Anna bought her first house.
