5 Things to Remember About 'Veep' Before it Returns April 24

The fifth season of HBO’s hit series Veep returns this weekend. And below are five things you need to remember, just in case you need a refresher on where things left off at the end of season four:

1. Amy Brookheimer resigned from Selina’s campaign and became a lobbyist and political pundit, but Amy felt strongly about being with Selina on election night.

2. The election ends with a tie between president Selina Meyer and Senator Bill O’Brien. In the event of a tie, the House of Representatives chooses the president, and the senate picks the vice president.

3. If there’s a tie in the house and Tom James is the senate’s choice for vice president… Tom would become president. And then Tom had the gall to ask Selina if she would consider being his Veep!

4. During the House Judiciary committee hearing about the Families First data breach, everyone blamed Bill Erickson. And now Bill is freaking out about his “probable imprisonment.”

5. Jonah Ryan was inappropriately touched by Teddy Sykes, but Jonah turned his sexual harassment into a platform for himself. He even has a catchphrase: “Check ’em, don’t neglect ’em.”

Season 5 of Veep premieres April 24 at 10:30 p.m. on HBO.
