In 2016 Ferrari introduced the J50, an ultra-limited-production version of the 488 Spider with more horsepower and different body paneling. The Italian exotic carmaker built just 10 examples, all earmarked for the Japanese market, making them some of the most exclusive and hard-to-get Ferraris in existence. Now, there's one for sale. If you're a collector in the market for something truly special, here's your chance.

Listed for sale at Ferrari's official Tokyo dealer, this J50 is black over black with gunmetal-colored 20-inch forged wheels. Driven just 692 km (430 miles) since new, it still looks factory-fresh, with immaculate paint and a seemingly untouched interior.

Like the 488 on which it's based, the J50 is propelled by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 sending power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Thanks to a different tune, the J50 gets roughly 20 more horsepower than its standard 488 sibling, for a total of 690 horses. The standard power-folding hardtop has been replaced by a two-piece carbon-fiber targa roof that's stowed behind the seats.

The car is currently listed with an asking price of¥398,000,000 (roughly $3.6 million at current exchange rates). Prospective buyers will be pleased to know maintenance on the car will be covered by Ferrari until 2026. If you're in the U.S., you'll likely have a hard time importing the car, seeing as how it won't be 25 years old until the year 2044 and isn't on the Show or Display exemption list. But if you can afford to purchase a vehicle that costs seven figures, you'll likely also have a place out in Japan or Europe to stash it.
