Skai Jackson has that doe-eyed gaze, and she’s not afraid to use it. The 14-year-old actress stepped out at a Power Rangers movie premiere on Wednesday, and her wide-eyed beauty was striking.
With a base of natural-looking foundation and a pop of color on the apples of her cheeks, makeup artist Adam Christopher created a doll-faced look. Christopher enhanced Jackson’s eyes using a white pencil liner on the lower water lines, extending beyond the outer corners to make them appear larger. He also lined her upper and lower lash lines in black, drawing parallel to the white liner and finishing with bold mascara.
The starlet completed her look with a braided pompadour that wove from the crown of her head to her forehead.
The hairstylist behind Jackson’s braided updo, Felicia Leatherwood, is also responsible for the intricate and gorgeous hairstyles of celebs like Issa Rae and Teyonah Parris. Jackson enlists Leatherwood’s help for all of her red-carpet appearances, and she never fails to deliver.
