How to Apply Eyeliner
Want to make your eyes pop? Reach for the liner. Whether you just want to define your eyes or create a dramatic look— black liner is the key. You can use a pencil, powder, liquid or gel formula. Pencil liners are easy to apply and can help you create a thin, precise line. Powder liner is best for creating a more diffused line and can be applied wet or dry. Liquid liner will give you an intense, rich line and gel liner is intense and long wearing. Hold your lid tight and apply eyeliner as close to the lash line as possible. The line should be the thickest at the outside corner and the thinnest at the inside. I like to start lining from the outside in. Your eye shape should dictate the thickness of your line — you want to see your line when your eyes are open.
