How to Apply Mascara
If you want to quickly define and open up your eyes—reach for the mascara. It is an easy way to transform lashes with just a couple of coats. When choosing a mascara, always go with the blackest version you can find, avoiding brown mascara or mascara with a gray tone. Black mascara is the most flattering color on everyone. The trick to getting the most out of your mascara is coating every lash and holding the wand as close to the lash line as possible. For beautiful lashes, I like to layer two different formulas starting with a mascara that defines and followed by a version designed to add volume and curl. A thin mascara brush is great for definition and a fat brush will give you super thick lashes. The mascara on your top lashes should be thicker than your bottom lashes.
