I’m a huge Isabel Marant fan. With every collection, every season, I find myself saving and filing away images from the runway and her lookbooks to serve as my style inspiration for the months to come. Everything is effortless but still really freaking cool, and feminine but tough. The French designer nails it. Every. Single. Time.

These images from the Isabel Marant Étoile Fall 2015/Winter 2016 collection lookbook were only released on Tuesday, but they’ve already been bookmarked and saved to my desktop. And this time they are serving as beauty inspiration.

A messy (in the perfect French way), windswept chignon looks polished when you add a simple black headband and thick cat-eye liner. It’s a look that is perfect if you’re working with second day hair. To get the effect on clean, dry hair, use Bumble and bumble Dryspun Finish Spray ($40) for added texture and fullness.

This sparkly, aqua liner look is the perfect summer pop of color — just make sure you’re using a longwear formula (try Urban Decay 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Electric, $20). Keep the rest of your makeup simple (a little shimmer on the cheek) and your hair au naturel.

To get a clean, defined flick of liner use a gel or liquid eyeliner formula and be sure to apply it close to the lash line. Marc Jacobs Beauty Magic Marc’er Precision Pen is great for creating a bold look plus the formula is waterproof a.k.a. hot summer night proof.
