Teranga Gold Reports Record First Quarter Production, One of the Best Quarters in Company History

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Apr 11, 2016) - Teranga Gold Corporation ("Teranga" or the "Company") (TGZ.TO)(TGZ.TO) today announced its production results for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

Teranga's gold production for the first quarter of 2016 was 70,727 ounces. Record high mill throughput, together with the benefit of high-grade material deferred from last year, underpinned the quarter's results.
