The Washington Navy Yard was placed on lockdown after multiple shots were fired inside a building on the base in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Navy confirmed.

At least four people were injured in the shooting, including one police Washington, D.C., Metro police officer, police said. (Yahoo News)
