2014 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel

It’s been a long while since General Motors last offered diesels in the U.S., and when they did, praise was unanimously absent. But times advance, and the diesel appearing in the 2014 Chevy Cruze stems from GM’s European brand, Opel. What that means is it’s made in a plant in Germany, tinkered to U.S. specifications, built by the hands of those who specialize in such motors. On paper, it should be a legitimate rival to ze German giant Volkswagen and the Jetta TDI.
