Restyled 2015 Ford Focus Models Bowing in New York City

According to Ford and Polk registration data, the Focus is the best-selling model nameplate in the world. In order to ensure its continued appeal, the 2015 Ford Focus gets a thorough refresh that updates the car's styling, interior, driving dynamics, fuel economy, safety, infotainment system, and more.

Ford introduced the updated 2015 Focus 5-door hatchback and station wagon (not for U.S. sale) at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Now, at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the company reveals the 2015 Focus Sedan and Focus Electric models. Ford says it will debut a performance-tuned 2015 Focus ST at a later date.

Exterior styling enhancements on the new 2015 Ford Focus Sedan include a new hood, new grille, new bumpers, new LED lights, and a new trunk lid design. Especially in front, the 2015 Focus looks similar to both the smaller Fiesta and larger Fusion and Taurus models, bringing it into line design-wise with Ford's family of cars.

Ford says the 2015 Focus features an interior that is quieter, more intuitive, and more upscale than before. More modern colors, cleaner materials, and Satin Chrome detailing are designed to enhance the cabin, which includes a new center console with adjustable cup holders and greater storage capacity. A heated steering wheel is a new option, and the available Sync AppLink technology now offers more than 60 downloadable apps for Android and iOS platforms.
