What racing great Sir Stirling Moss says he could do with today’s machines

One of the great traditions of the Tour d'Elegance rally lies with the person who starts it every year: Sir Stirling Moss, the British racing driver who won scores of races in every kind of car there was to race in the '50s and '60s, and lived to talk about it. From beside a 1955 Mercedes 300 SL gullwing — his car of choice for this event — Moss took a few minutes to speak with us about what's changed in racing and car culture over the decades, and what he could do with the cars of today.
