Another source of Lincoln inspiration: Flickr photo of the day

The story goes that in 1930, Edsel Ford chose the leaping greyhound as his personal symbol for the Lincoln Motor Co., and added the graceful hound to the menagerie of hood ornaments all luxury cars sported in that era. As this shot by Bill Jacomet shows, the Lincoln greyhound has weathered time far better than its peers, and bears a striking resemblance to Jaguar's leaping cat.
