Walt Disney Co. is doubling down on streaming after reporting a quarterly loss of nearly $5 billion Tuesday amid a pandemic that has all but paralyzed its theme parks, live productions and cruise line. Disney (DIS) reported a fiscal third-quarter loss of $4.72 billion, or $2.61 a share, compared with net income of 79 cents a share in the year-ago quarter. The loss was largely due to a $4.95 billion charge Disney took as a result of the pandemic and changing media habits globally.

Search crews have located a Marine Corps amphibious assault vehicle nearly 400 feet under the ocean's surface after it sunk in a deadly accident off the coast of Southern California last week, according to military officials. "Officials with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), and the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) positively identified on Aug. 3 the location of the amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) that sunk off the coast of San Clemente Island on July 30," a military official said in a statement Tuesday.
