Joey Votto adds TikTok to his social media arsenal, sings Goo Goo Dolls' 'Name'

When Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto announced earlier this week that he decided to join social media - much to the delight of many baseball fans - he acknowledged that he'd previously been "too intimidated to join" and "couldn't move to the center of the dance floor."

But he didn't waste time before dipping his foot in the TikTok water, offering his rendition of the Goo Goo Dolls' "Name."

Votto, a six-time All-Star who has played all 15 of his MLB seasons in Cincinnati, hit .266 with 36 homers and 99 RBIs in 533 plate appearances in 2021.
